Bio: Joey "Unplugged" Friedman was born and raised on Staten Island. Though he spends his days teaching English, he spends his nights and weekends entertaining at a variety of popular Staten Island venues. From alternative rock and blues to pop music and hip hop, Joey has a reputation for playing to any crowd. His arsenal of effects and pedals allows for a real "One-Man-Band" experience. But he doesn’t stop there; he enjoys getting the crowd going and involves them in his repertoire of entertainment. There is almost no request that he will turn down, and his sense of humor has audiences laughing when they're not singing along to their favorite songs! It's no wonder he has been voted Staten Island's Best Solo Musician (2016).
